Opposite the threaded end are two sets of three teardrop-shaped looped wire blades welded symmetrically around the shaft to form a six-blade mixing head. The paddle is zinc-plated or chrome-finished, shows visible welds and a small manufacturer label near the threads. Intended for mixing paint, plaster, cement, mortar, adhesives and other viscous materials with a handheld drill, it promotes strong circulation and reduces air entrainment.
